Here’s All the Special Star Wars Day Merchandise for 2020

It’s that time again! Star Wars Day 2020 is upon us, and we have a lot to look forward to. Not only do we have The Rise of Skywalker coming to Disney Plus on May 4th, but Disney also unveiled some new merchandise releases as well, like the Star Wars Day Key!

If you’re like me, you love both Disney and Star Wars. And just like me, with the newest additions to the Disney/Star Wars merch lineup, I have a good feeling you’re going to want all of it.

Special Star Wars Day Merchandise 2020

Let’s take a look at everything that Disney and Star Wars are releasing on May 4th for Star Wars Day. If you’re a regular at my site, you might also know that May 4th is my birthday, too. Which means that I’m extra extra excited for all this great stuff.

Official Star Wars Day Key

One of the coolest items (in my opinion) that’s coming out on May 4th, 2020, is the official Star Wars Day key.

Disney has released an incredible collection of classic keys in their physical Disney Stores all over the world. If you collect them, you’ve probably wondered when the next one will come out and how you’ll be able to get one for yourself.

Well, you’re in luck!

The newest Disney key is the official Star Wars Day key. This brand new design celebrates the Star Wars universe, as well as the 40th anniversary of the release of The Empire Strikes Back, which came out on May 21st, 1980.

This new key comes out on Star Wars Day, May 4th, at 7AM (Pacific) / 10AM (Eastern).

Because this is a special release of a hot ticket item on a major pop culture holiday, my guess is that it’s going to be very popular. In other words, if you want to get ahold of one (like I do!), then it might be wise to hop online as soon as those (virtual) doors open up!

The Empire Strikes Back: 40th Anniversary

As I mentioned above, the fortieth anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back is this year. So, on May 4th, Disney and Star Wars will release a special collection.

This group of fun, exciting, and memorable items can be for yourself or to give as a gift for that special Star Wars fan in your life.
